Montauk Point Lighthouse Museum - Montauk Point Lighthouse is the oldest lighthouse in New York State. The Lighthouse was authorized by the Second Congress, under President George Washington in 1792. The museum which is located in the 1860 Keepers house, displays an assortment of many historical documents, and photographs.

Old Westbury Gardens - Designed in 1906 by the English designer George A. Crawley for Mr. and Mrs. John Shafer Phipps and their children, the magnificent Charles II-style mansion is nestled amid 150 acres, featuring carefully planned formal gardens and landscaped grounds interspersed with woodlands, ponds and lakes.

Suffolk County Vanderbilt Museum - The Vanderbilt Museum features an elegant Mansion, a Marine Museum and natural history collections, a state-of-the-art Planetarium, and 43 acres of landscaped Park grounds.

Planting Fields Arboretum - Planting Fields Arboretum State Historic Park is one of the outstanding public gardens and historic estates in the United States. It serves as a quiet oasis for the contemplation as well as a site for cultural, architectural and horticultural activities. The arboretum is a natural sanctuary, a living outdoor classroom and a unique teaching facility for adults and children alike.

Museum of the Hudson Highlands - The Museum of the Hudson Highlands offers programs designed to help illustrate the cultural, historical and natural diversity of the local and regional environment, using the living outdoor classroom of forests, wetlands, ponds, streams, meadows and farm fields.

Manitoga - Manitoga is the home and landscape created by Russel Wright. Manitoga offers 80 acres of nature hiking, picnicking and amazing views of the Hudson.

Institute of Ecosystem Studies - Located at the Mary Flagler Cary Arboretum, the Institute is internationally recognized for its ecology research and education. The Institute's strong commitment to public education is reflected in its regularly scheduled ecology programs and seminars as well as by free visitor access to display gardens, walking trails and a tropical greenhouse.

Hudson Valley Raptor Center - Located on 91 acres in the beautiful rolling hills of the Hudson Valley, approximately 100 miles north of New York City, the Center provides a clinic and numerous buildings to house recuperating birds. Visitors can enjoy flying demonstrations as well as meet and learn about the birds of prey.

Hudson River Museum - The Hudson River Museum is located in a beautiful 23 acre park facing one of the most magnificent riverscapes in the world. The museum houses six modern galleries, a restored 1876 Victorian mansion and the Andrus Planetarium.

Hudson River Maritime Museum - The Hudson River Maritime Museum is the only museum in New York State exclusively preserving the maritime history of the Hudson River, its tributaries, and the industries that developed around it.

Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame - The Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame tells the story of harness racing. The facility also serves as a community cultural center and educational institution. Visitors can discover the thrill of harness racing with a 3-D simulator and a variety of computer interactive exhibits.

Hammond Museum and Japanese Stroll Garden - The Hammond Museum & Japanese Stroll Garden was founded in 1957 as a not-for-profit center for the humanities. Through programs and events, music and art, the Museum seeks to provide links between the East and the West. In addition, the 3 acre Japanese Stroll Garden is a unique public garden in Westchester County.

Gomez Mill House - Gomez Mill House is the oldest house on the Historic Register in Orange County and is the earliest extant Jewish residence in America. Gomez Mill House offers a variety of lectures, children and family events and art exhibits.

Emelin Theatre for the Performing Arts - The Emelin Theatre is non-profit institution dedicated to enriching the lives of Westchester residents with a full range of performing arts programs including concerts, plays, film, dance and a variety of children's events.

Shadowland Theatre - Dedicated to high-quality, challenging productions, Shadowland is located in the charming village of Ellenville, in Ulster County NY. The theatre feature five plays showcasing the best of contemporary theatre and playwrights.

Bardavon 1869 Opera House - For more than 130 years the Bardavon Opera House has presented legendary performances to the Hudson Valley. The oldest continuously operating theatre in New York State and among the oldest in the nation, the Bardavon has long been considered the cultural jewel of the region.

Caramoor Center for Music and Arts - Caramoor Center for Music and Arts is a Mediterranean-style mansion set on 100 acres of formal gardens and woodlands. Visitors can enjoy some of the world's greatest Classical and Jazz performances. The center also features an International Music Festival during the summer.

Center for Performing Arts at Rhinebeck - The Center for Performing Arts at Rhinebeck is dedicated to presenting, promoting, and providing educational experiences in multiple forms of the performing arts and manifold styles of expression. The center features plays, musicals, dance concerts, lectures, stage readings and workshops.

D&H Canal Museum - Maintained by the D&H Canal Historical Society whose purpose is to preserve, protect and perpetuate the unique history of the Delaware and Hudson Canal particularly in Ulster County, the museum features diagrams, photographs, working technological models, maps and artifacts that tell the story of the D&H Canal.

Dutchess County Fairgrounds - Sponsored by the Dutchess County Agricultural Society, the Fairgrounds are host to the second largest agricultural fair in New York State and a variety of events from April to November. The Fairgrounds is situated on 140 acres and features Antiques Shows, a Sheep and Wool Festival, an antique Car Show, the Iroquois Indian Festival and more.

Boscobel - Boscobel is situated on the east bank of the Hudson River opposite the United States Military Academy at West Point. The mansion and surrounding grounds have panoramic views of the Hudson Highlands and the river. Guided tour of the mansion are available April through December.

Locust Grove, the Samuel Morse Historic Site - Overlooking the Hudson River in Poughkeepsie, NY, the 150 acre estate of Samuel F.B. Morse includes an Italianate villa designed by Alexander Jackson Davis containing extensive collections of American and European decorative and fine arts. Three miles of carriage roads wind through landscaped grounds, romantic gardens and shady groves.

West Point Military Academy - The nation's oldest service academy has operated since 1802.  A Visitors Center and the West Point Museum are open to the general public on a daily basis. The museum features what is considered to be the oldest and largest diversified public collection of miltaria in the Western Hemisphere.

Wilderstein - Wilderstein features a historic Victorian house surrounded by 40 acres of trails overlooking the Hudson River.

Clermont State Historic Site - Clermont State Historic Site was the Hudson River seat of New York's politically and socially prominent Livingston family. Seven successive generations of the family left their imprint on the site's architecture, room interiors, and landscape. Designated a National Historic Landmark in 1973, Clermont is also an anchor in the 1990 Hudson River National Landmark District.

Van Cortlandt Manor - Working estate and elegant country house that brings the new nation period vividly to life. Van Cortlandt Manor is situated on the banks of the Croton River. Guides dressed in the clothing styles of the Federal period escort visitors through the property.

Mid-Hudson Civic Center - The Center is conveniently located mid-way between NY City and Albany on the banks of the beautiful Hudson River. The facility is the site of performances by international and world famous artists of all varieties, as well as a community meeting place and recreational ice skating facility.

Storm King Art Center - Storm King Art Center is a museum that celebrates the relationship between sculpture and nature. Five hundred acres of landscaped lawns, fields and woodlands provide the site for postwar sculptures by internationally renowned artists.

Cedar Grove, The Thomas Cole National Historic Site - Set high on a hill overlooking the Catskill mountains Cole celebrated in his paintings, Cedar Grove now looks much as it did in the artist's time. Guided tours lead visitors through the house today, which includes period furnishings and a few of Cole's personal belongings and paintings.

Westchester Broadway Theatre - Westchester Broadway Theatre is a dinner theatre featuring Broadway musicals, plays and concerts.

Unison Arts and Learning Center - Unison Arts and Learning Center is a non-profit arts center offering performance and visual arts programming, personal growth workshops and recreational, arts and educational activities for children and families.

Ulster Performing Arts Center (UPAC) - UPAC is a historic 1500 seat Broadway Theater featuring concerts, drama, comedy, opera and musicals.

Trolley Museum - The Trolley Museum of New York features a variety of static displays of trolley, subway and rapid transit cars from the United States and Europe. The museum also offers an excursion ride that runs 1 1/2 miles from the foot of Broadway in downtown Kingston, New York, to picnic grounds on the shore of the Hudson River.

Shaker Museum and Library - Housing over 18,500 objects, the Shaker Museum and Library preserves, collects and interprets one of the largest and most comprehensive collections of Shaker artifacts.

Greenburgh Nature Center - Greenburgh Nature Center features a 33 acre woodland preserve, with live animals, a museum, a greenhouse with botanical exhibits, and a hands-on discovery room.

Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art - The Museum is dedicated to collecting, researching, interpreting, and exhibiting works of art from diverse cultures. The permanent collection spans a period of almost 4,000 years. Areas of specialization include 20th century prints and paintings, Asian art, Pre-Columbian art and artifacts, decorative arts (metals), and photographs.

Rockland Center for the Arts - Tucked away on a scenic plot of 10 wooded acres in West Nyack NY is Rockland Center for the Arts, - it's mission: to serve the community with excellence in the arts. Music concerts, exhibitions, art classes, children's activities, and arts-in-education programs have opened the world of art to people of all ages and backgrounds.

River Valley Tour - Spend a week on America's most important river getting to know her as few people ever do. Boldt Castle - Boldt Castle is a Rhineland castle built by George C. Boldt in Alexandria Bay, on Picturesque Heart Island as a display of his love for his wife, Louise. The structure is a six story, 120 room castle, complete with tunnels, a powerhouse, Italian gardens, a drawbridge, and a dovecote. The castle is open for self-guided tours from mid-May through mid-October.
